Pen Show & Carcass Show

The NABC Commercial Pen Show features a cross section of the finest stock offered by purebred and commercial producers in Eastern Canada. This year’s commercial show offers Pen of Three classes for Bulls and Heifers and will take place on Sunday, October 28th.

The NABC is excited to host the NABC Carcass Competition in colaboration with Gencor Foods Inc and Pfizer Animal Health. Competiting animals will be accepted at Gencor Foods’ facilities in Kichener (305 Arnold, St.) from 1:00-3:00 on October 15. Entries will be processed on October 16, and graded the following day. Grand Champion Carcass receives a $1000 cash prize courtesy of Pfizer Animal Health – and each entry will receive a $0.05 premium over rail average the week of the competition.

Display Pens – The NABC is offering display pens for producers/exhibitors that are looking to display or market cattle but do not wish to participate in one of the showcase events. Display pen entries are $100 – and are limited to 3 animals per pen.
